This daily devotional journal is intentionally designed to lead to discussion in a weekly small group gathering with others you invite to take this journey with you. As a matter of fact, start praying now for the Holy Spirit to lead you to 3 people that are in the places and spaces where you do life (at home, work, school, church, neighbor, etc.) to take this journey with you. The conversation you will have each week will be based on the journal entries you all would have already written down during the week. Here’s what a sample weekly gathering and discussion questions would look like:

Leader plays Story overview video from the week’s reading, then they ask each person answer the following questions from their journal…

1. What is at least one aspect of God’s character of love that stood out to you from this week’s reading? 

2. What is at least one picture of Jesus or Him crucified that gave you assurance of salvation from this week’s reading? 

3. What is at least one thing the Holy Spirit said to you or asked you to do from this week’s reading? How can we pray for you in your obedience to the Spirit?

4. What is at least one verse from this week’s reading that you meditated on from memory?

8:15pm - Pray for Three. Can you give an update on the three people you’re praying for to take this journey with you? How can we pray for them?
